1:1 Learning Support Assistant – Part Time (Pay Level 2B Pts 3-5 (£9.36ph- £9.74ph) pro-rata)

Monday to Friday 1pm until 3.30pm
12 hours 30 minutes per week term time only plus training days
(Fixed Term Contract linked to child)

We are keen to recruit the following qualified 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a child in reception.   Ideally applicants will have experience of working on a one to one basis supporting children with SEND within early years.

We are looking for applicants with NVQ 2/3 training who can work under the instruction and guidance of teaching staff/managers, to undertake educational activities and attend to the educational, personal and social needs of pupils in order to support their learning and development and to ensure their safety.

You’ll be joining a supportive team who are collectively passionate about the learning and progress of our children. We recognise the importance of nurturing a love of learning in all our children; to inspire them to reach for the stars.

School visits are encouraged and warmly welcomed on a 1:1 basis, by appointment. Please note face masks will be required to be worn as we are a COVID-19 secure school.

These positions require an enhanced criminal records bureau (DBS) disclosure.

Midday Supervisory Assistant x 2 (Pay Level 1D Pts 1-3 (£9.25ph- £9.62ph) pro-rata)

Monday to Friday 5 hours per week between 12noon and 1.30pm
Term time only plus training days
(Fixed Term Contract – exact times to be confirmed & relief contracts available)

We are keen to recruit friendly Midday Supervisory Assistants to join our school.

We have 2 vacancies for Midday Supervisors to join our team responsible for supervising our wonderful pupils during lunchtime and help them prepare for an afternoon full of learning and enjoyment.  We also have vacancies for relief Midday Supervisors to join our team and be on hand to help cover staff absences.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient, interested in working with children and a highly effective member of staff who is able to work from his or her own initiative. Experience of working in a school setting is desirable but not essential. Appropriate training will be provided. 

These roles are for supporting classes but also for supporting children with SEND.
